Mass in the colon : The answer is yes a CT is great for seeing abdominal masses.. Can you see you miss a small mass in the colon that can be seen with a colonoscopy yes?

Not always: Not the ideal test to answer that question. Due to bowel gas and or retained feces there can be a lot of difficulty assessing inside of colon. Normally would need colonoscopy or possibly swallowed camera after good bowel prep to have the best chance of getting accurate findings. Work with GI specialist.
