Wake up headache: A number of factors can cause daily wake up headaches at any age. The most common causes are blood pressure and obstructive sleep apnea. It also may be tension type headache if you are bruxing (clenching) your teeth all night. Regardless, the morning wake up headache is a red flag and secondary headache should be ruled out. See an orofacial pain or headache specialist for evaluation.
