After completing a 10 day course of bactrum, my white cell count is higher now than it was before. i am not on 10 days of cipro (ciprofloxacin). why would that be?

Increasing WBC: It sounds like you have an infection that was resistant to the Bactrim, (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) so the bacteria kept on multiplying and your immune system kept producing more white blood cells to fight them.
