Back pain: Numbness and tingling in the leg and foot is caused by nerve irritation. An MRI of the lumbar spine and a nerve conduction test can determine the cause of the numbness and tingling. Neuropathic pain medicine such as Gabapentin can reduce the numbness and tingling.

Leg and toes tingle: Ditch the chiropractor and go to a physician that specializes in spine problems. You may need an MRI.
