Change in posture?: The endocrinologist is correct. Women are unable to grow after their growth plates close, which is 2-3 years after the start of menstruation. However, standing up more straight instead of slouching can make you look significantly taller so I am guessing your posture has improved (or perhaps you got platform shoes!). If you actually measure your height it is very unlikely it has increased.

My mom was recently dx'ed with high BP(188/101). Dr put her on 50mg Losartan. Diastolic not moving. Dr upped dose to 100mg/day. Not budging. Endo chimed in and added Hydrochlorothiazide. Shouldn't they address her diastolic more aggressively?
Normal FT4, high calcium (10.9). Everything else normal but very low D. Thyroid ultrasound shows mild heterogeneous parenchymal echogenicity; no nodules. Lots of symptoms and family history on moms side. Should I see an endo?
