Not muscle; STD?: A man who has a boil on his penis and a lump in the groin probably has an enlarged lymph node in the groin, not a muscle problem. The question is what is the cause of the presumed infection on the penis. Sexually transmitted diseases top the list of possibilities. This deserves investigation; syphilis can appear to go away by itself, but actually cause major delayed complications.

See your doctor: With the combination of groin pain, sore throat, and a boil on the penis, it is important that you visit your physician to have yourself checked out. If you're sexually active, your physician will likely test you for a sexually transmitted disease. I recommend you see your local doctor as soon as possible.
