Yes: A pap test looks for cervical cancer. If you have a cervix, you can get cervical cancer and you need a pap test every 3 years as long as you had 3 normal ones in 3 years. If you haven't, you need the pap test yearly for 3 years, then every 3 years once they are normal.

Yes, but: If you have had normal paps your whole life they can be done every 3 years. If you reach 65 and have had no abnormal in 10 years, they can be stopped. If there is any confusion based on your history, talk to your doctor!
