Norco (hydrocodone and acetaminophen) & Percocet: They are both short acting narcotic analgesics that may be taken every 4-6 hours as needed for moderate-severe pain only. Assuming you are discontinuing the Percocet & replacing with Norco (hydrocodone and acetaminophen) there is no set waiting period other than the traditional 4-6 hours. Please take these medications ONLY as prescribed & be mindful to not exceed daily Acetaminophen doses which these medications contain.
