Good clean out: Every newborn will go thru some clean out & stooling transitions. The first stools will be black & sticky & if breast fed , baby may start to have a little smear of poo as often as every couple hours.After the first few days a little poo every feed or a cradle filler every ten days is possible. With formula it is often different, frequent stooling may indicate babies difficulty digesting a feed.
