Virus: She most likely has a viral gastroenteritis. Treatment is supportive and includes a otc meds for any fever, staying hydrated if possible, and time. If no improvement, she may need to see her pediatrician.

Sips & sips: If the kid vomits any intake of volume you need to cut back to sips of fluids every few minutes while awake. Popsicles & near frozen slushes of apple sauce, or whipped peaches or pears are often well tolerated. If she can hold that down, some simple noodles or steamed rice are good starter foods.
