?Stomach Flu: Hold off giving anything till the vomiting seems to have stopped, then give very small amounts of clear fluids like pedialyte frequently. After few hours without vomiting give regular fluids. After several hours of this slowly introduce solids. Call your doctor if unable to keep anything down, vomiting persists for more than few hours , bloody vomit or green vomit or signs of dehydration.

Vomiting, nursing: Are you sure she is 3.5 years and not 3.5 months (since she is nursing? If she is 3.5 months, hold off on nursing for 1-2 hours, and then restart. If the vomiting persists, she will need to be examined . Watch for urine production and stool production/consistency, too.
