What number of cavities do people in whole life?

Dental cavities: Some people have had zero and some people have had multiple cavities in almost every tooth, but a majority of Americans have had several cavities (a number that no one would know for sure). And remember, even teeth that have fillings and crowns are still prone to develop new decay (cavities). Be sure to see your dentist regularly!

Good news: The number of cavities in the average mouth is down and people are keeping their teeth much longer. On average, people have healthier mouths than even 5 years ago. According to ADA Socio-economic status plays a definite role in one’s general and dental health; 33% of low-income have untreated decay. This compared with 16% of middle- and higher-income population .
