A member asked:

I have hashimoto's. how can i find a physician who will not only treat the thyroid output issues, but also offer immunomodulation?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Thyroidologist: Hashimoto' s disease is best treated by an endocrinologist or thyroidologist and is treated with thyroid supplements as guided by thyroid blood tests. I'm not aware of any other form of treatment for this disorder as the thyroid replacement therapy is quite effective. The thyroidologist is better qualified to advise you however.
