No: It is not normal for a 2 month-old baby to have firm, constipating stool before, during, or after a vaccination (the vaccination doesn't have anything to do with it). Constipation happens in babies sometimes, more often in formula-fed babies than in breast-fed ones. Because 0-3 months is very young, the doctor can check to be sure the baby is ok. Occasional glycerin suppository use can help.
