I took my 15 month old to get her vaccines and i was wondering where are this vaccines suppose to be injected?is mucus in stool normal after vaccines?

Thigh preferred: Most toddlers at this age usually have injections in thigh or upper arm. Important to ask her pediatrician which sites they prefer for this age group. Loose stools, fever and discomfort are common after vaccines. Important to keep her comfortable, massage and cool compresses to injection sites. Ask her doc if they recommend acetominophen or Ibuprofen for pain relief after vaccines.

Thighs: Infants should receive their vaccines in their thighs, as they are the largest muscles they have. The mucus needs to be followed, and possibly seen by her doctor.
