Brush well: Sometimes a cleaning can be a little rough on your gums if there was a lot of tartar on your teeth . Gums may feel loose or have space around teeth. Brush thoroughly and use salt water or peroxide rinses to relieve the symptoms. Check with your dentist if it persists

Very common: The inflamed gingiva and can be sore after tarter removal. This soreness should resolve after a day or two. Saltwater rinses 2-3 times per day may promote healing.
