A member asked:

Could you treat epilepsy with herbs and vitamins effectively?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Typically not: The exception would be the rare case of pyridoxine-dependent epilepsy in young kids. They need high doses of b6 to augment enzyme function in the production of GABA. High doses can cause a permanent sensory ganglion disorder, so don't just go hog wild on it!
