A member asked:

Is there a particular diet that can be used to treat epilepsy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Ketogenic: In particularly difficult cases of childhood epilepsy severe restriction of carbohydrates with induced ketosis has been shown to help with seizure control. Some have responded to the modified adkins diet. Otherwise good health habits with good sleep, good excercise, and healthy nutrition is appropriate. Daily vitamins especially b6 can also benefit.
