Could you put whitening strips on braces?

Not good idea: If you whiten the area around the braces, when braces removed the area behind the braces will look dark. Best thing to do is wait 1-3 months after your Orthodontic Specialist has removed your braces then have your General Dentist take you through an in-office whitening program. For minimal color change while braces are on, follow your Orthodontic Specialist's oral hygiene instructions.

Better to wait: Whitening strips work great on the areas they contact. However, they won't whiten the teeth under the braces. This will give you some very undesirable bleaching.
