The swelling may last a few days; you should call your doctor or see an ENT specialist if the swelling continues or worsens. Nose bleeds are Us: Nose bleeds are common as a result of kids bumping their noses over objects or other folks in their nose hitting range! It bleeds due to many fragile tiny blood vessels in the area. The swelling may be due to bruising, which should go away in a few days with ice packs to the area.
