Time and sleep: Some questions are hard to answer without an examination. If you have a viral infection that may cause some lymph node swelling in the neck and give you a headache and fatigue then time alone will allow your immune system to fight off the infection. If you have the one tender spot in the neck associated with a tender lump you should be seen by the doctor right away. I hope that helps. Sleep helps.
