Probably not: After age 14, at least in ca, adolescents have rights to accept or reject psychiatric care, except under specific circumstances. Realistically, it's quite tough for anyone to "force" a 16 yo to do anything--and not necessarily a good idea even if posible. May be best to start by meeting with a therapist as parent(s) to work on an approach that pushes her toward seeking therapy or help you cope.
