during a uti my body temp. drops to 96 and i am chilled. is this normal? my urologist says he never heard of it. could it be something else?

Need more info: Without more history and your medical records it is not possible to answer this clearly, but you may be experiencing sepsis with UTIs and sometimes septic patients will be hypothermic (have body temperatures below normal). Your hypothyroidism may also be playing a role.
