Trazadone or ambien (zolpidem)?: Before you make any changes to your medication regimen, you should discuss thoroughly with your provider. Now sounds like a good time to leave your doc a message about how Ambien (zolpidem) has become ineffective (which is one of the many drawbacks of habit forming meds). While technically there is no interaction b/w Ambien (zolpidem) & trazodone, if Ambien (zolpidem) is no longer working, perhaps discuss stopping that one?
