Need to find out: If the pain was present before the colonoscopy, then you need to go back to your physician to be examined and tested to find out the cause. If the pain began after you had the colonoscopy, and doesn't decrease when you pass gas or have a bowel movement, you need to see the doctor who did the procedure. Sometimes, there are complications even without a biopsy.
