Pain: ... Is not usual after a colonoscopy. It is possible to have some gas related pain, but that should not cause soreness and should resolve within 1 to 2 days after the procedure. If you have any fevers, chills, bleeding, or worsening of the pain, I would call your gastroenterologist or go to the ER immediately. Otherwise, your soreness should be resolving within the next day or two. Good luck.
