Stop worrying: Usually this is an incidental finding on an imaging study of the chest. If you don't have symptoms of lupus, mysathenia gravis or some other immune disease, your thymus stayed around for whatever reason. So far as anybody I've ever talked to knows, you're not at increased risk.
