Liver biopsy = hepatic parenchyma showing moderate to severe chronic hepatitis w/bridging fibrosis &focal changes of early micronodular cirrhosis. grade 3-4 stage 3-4. can thyroid cause this? or what?

No: thyroid problems do not cause cirrhosis. you may have an autoimmune hepatitis leading to cirrhosis, which could be associated with thyroid disease. There are many causes of cirrhosis, ask your doctor to test you, as most can be checked with a blood test.

Probably not: This biospsy in suspicious for hepatitis ( chronic) B or C, alcohol or chemical toxicity. You must follow up with your GI doc. Not a thyroid issues,except possible fatty infilration form hypothyroidism.
