Common: Surgery has been done on an area of your body, the orbit, which is richly innervated with pain and other sensory fibers. These were disturbed in the injury and in the surgery and it will take a little while for it to feel normal. Your surgeon has probably prescribed something to deal with moderate pain, but if the pain is excruciating, contact the surgeon.

Achy: It's normal to have peri orbital soreness after surgery. Headaches can be present as well. It should resolve within a week. If it doesn't see your surgeon
