Newborns : Sleep 18 hours in the beginning & are awake only 6 hours. Most will wake up like clockwork every three hours for a feeding, others every 4-5 hours & a very small percentage 6-8 hours! As long as your baby is taking adequate amount for growth, you should not worry. U can wake ur baby up every three hours during the day to feed & let her sleep thru the night for 8 hours-uninterrupted so can you!
