Fascial Strain: It sounds like you may have a plantar fascial strain. If this is the case, the plantar fascia, a broad ligament-like band of tissue running from the heel to the soft tissues behind the toes, may be irritated. The best thing for this is to rest and support it until the pain dissipates. The can be done with a good arch support, shoe gear and reducing high impact activity.
