Casein helps: As a food supplement, casein helps build muscle mass in people doing resistance training. Be aware that it shouldn't be the only kind of protein that you take in. Every protein except red meat is recommended. Whey is also helpful, but only if taken in addition to casein.

Not really: There is no one "Best" protein. there are multiple sources of protein with the main concern being to get a good balance of essential Amino Acids to provide the building blocks your body needs.
