I wouldn't: Your son would develop antibodies to that strain of germ the first time around and be protected. He may bring a new strain home from school or day care ( they can once a month) but it will not be the one you shared.

Unlikely: It's unlikely you'd pass it back to him, as he should already have the antibodies to what ever infection it was, meaning he would be able to fight any additional exposure to the same infection without getting sick again.

Colds: he has recovered from that virus so his immunity will protect him during your illness

Unlikely: your son has immunity to the cold now and it is unlikely he will catch it again.

Unlikely: If he is generally healthy and has recovered, he most likely has developed antibodies against this infection and should be fine. He is still susceptible to a different virus in the future. I'm glad he is well now.
