My son has cidp. he's now disabled. what is longterm prognosis? steroids worked but it came back. infusions didn't work. now on mycophenelate. worried

Prognosis in CIDP is: variable; factors with some degree of predictive value include type of onset, symmetrical vs. asymmetrical symptoms, distribution patterns of demyelination, axonal loss & loss of upper motor neurons.
