A member asked:

The glands in my throat, neck and behind my ears keep swelling but i don't feel sick or anything when this happeneds, why could this be happening?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Glands vs nodes: The first step in answering your question is whether you have swelling salivary glands or swelling lymph nodes. They are located close to each other and can be confused. The causes of swollen glands vs nodes are many and distinctly different. I would suggest a careful physical exam by someone knowledgable with head/neck anatomy. Glands vs nodes can usually be identified on exam alone.
