Not as good as milk: When milk hurdles as in making cheese and cottage cheese, the curds have most of the nutrition. The whey is the left over liquid. It is not as nutritious as milk or cheese, and farmers feed it to.livestock and use it for fertilizer and sell it for supplements. But it is essentially fat free.
