Constipation : Most importantly, drink plenty of fluids. At least 6 to 8 glasses of water a day is recommended. Add fiber to your diet such as bran, prunes and vegetables. Exercise everyday. If you continue to have a problem, add a fiber product such as Benefiber or Metamucil. If you do not get relief, try Miralax (polyethylene glycol).
