Not a surgery: Oral submucous fibrosis is a chronic, progressive, scarring disease. At a retrospective studies surgery seems to be a poor option in the overall management of the disease. Physiotherapy, nutrition and combined therapy is the better choice.

Get to such a facility and get evaluated by the oral medicine department in a dental school and expect consultations with other specialties.
