Steroid therapy: Oral submucous fibrosis is charecterized by stiffening and restricted mobility of the oral mucous membrane. Leading to difficulty in mouth opening and eating. This is a precancerous lesion and be treated with intralesional corticosteroids and regular stretching of the oral soft tissue.
