Depends . . .: Some people report that more aerobic exercise leads to weight (fat) loss while strengthening/resistance exercise helps bulk up by adding muscle. Ideally, we recommend both aerobic & conditioning exercises accompanied by healthy nutrition. Squats are considered best exercise to strengthen legs but be careful to use proper form to avoid injuring back. Consider consulting w/physical therapist 1st
