Can't be done: Hans Selye, who popularized today's ideas about stress, distinguished good and bad (dis-) stress. If you're trapped in an impossible situation or have something you don't know how to deal with, get help escaping by whatever means you can. But the daily stress of living is basically a good thing -- it makes you work to be effective and fulfilled.
