Return: Return to Surgeon for reevaluation. Infected tooth probably did a number on the surrounding bone. Should be checked if you are still having noticeable pain.

Post-op appointment: If pain persists or increases after 2 weeks, you should see your dentist/oral surgeon to exclude any pathologic disorder like dry socket.
