Geodon (ziprasidone)?: Actually, neither Abilify nor Geodon (ziprasidone) are anti-depressants. They are anti-psychotic medications. But in recent years such medicines are sometimes prescribed along with antidepressants to increase the antidepressant effect. There are risks and benefits to doing this that must be weighed carefully.
