Seroma: You probably have a seroma. That is a collection of fluid between your skin and abdominal wall. Your plastic surgeon should evaluate it. A sonogram can outline it if it is present.

No: What you are describing is not “normal”. Based on your description, you may be dealing with a fluid accumulation such as a seroma. These fluid accumulations are more common early after surgery but may become a “chronic” problem. Best to see your plastic surgeon in person for evaluation. Best wishes
