Seroma: You probably have a seroma. That is a collection of fluid between your skin and abdominal wall. Your plastic surgeon should evaluate it. A sonogram can outline it if it is present.

No: What you are describing is not “normal”. Based on your description, you may be dealing with a fluid accumulation such as a seroma.
