Sleep consolidation : will occur (about 8 hrs. by 5-6 mos..) with a regular bedtime & routine. Read, rock, nurse, wipe out her mouth with a soft cloth. Put her on her back in her own bed in her own room drowsy, but awake, to self-calm for sleep. Teeth erupt & habits begin around 5 mos. At 6 mos., there's a 50% chance she'll night-wake again, but she won't need feeds & she'll be able to go back to sleep on her own.

Sleeping through : The night for 8 hours - uninterrupted can only happen when you stop feeding your baby through the night & as long as your baby is not being starved during the day time! Burp your baby after feedings, change diaper & let your baby fall asleep on his/ her own. When night time comes , nothing has changed. Eating is a pleasure. Babies will take the bottle or breast when offered.crying is their language
