Infection?: You may have secondarily infected (cellulitis) the bite from scratching it. Due to germs that can live under our fingernails, it's easy to infect an otherwise clean wound that could have healed well. If this symptom persists, you should see a physician immediately for further evaluation and management of your symptom. Good health.
