Alternative : Method of treating patients. Approaching the patient as a whole. Trying to incorporate environmental , body homeostasis , outside factors to name a few to help prevent and maintain the health of an individual. There's a bit more to it. Find a holistic doctor and talk to them about. A lot of good stuff with that approach
