A member asked:

How much progress can a non-specifically ill patient make with functional/alternative medicine things (like food intolerance, custom vitamins, etc)? or, do non-specifically ill patients have things wrong with them outside scope of any 2016 medicine?

?: I think you need to explain your symptoms and then you can be evaluated and treatment options discussed. Seems you have no diagnosis at this time. Must start with. Diagnosis

No clear diagnosis: Not having clarity on what is happening w/your health can be very frustrating. If you are asking about seeing a functional medicine doc, nutritionist integrative medicine doc, or the like, please do so. One size does not fit all and it takes detective work to find the root cause of symptoms many time. Nutritional panels (Spectracell lab) and food sensitivity testing (Great Plains lab) good.
