Antihistamines: A cold is a viral infection, usually resolves on its own. People take medicines to resolve symptoms. Cough medicine like Guaifenesin and antihistamines like cetirizine, fexofenadine, loratidine, are commonly used for drainage, warm salt water rinses may help with the sore throat. If it doesn't improve seek a doctor.
