RSD=CRPS: In cases of RSD that are refractory to sympathetic blocks, a surgical sympathectomy may be recommended. Various pharmacological agents have also been used topically to block the release of NE from presynaptic sympathetic neurons with varied success. always pain psychologist is recommended as an adjunctive treatment.
